Frederick Jethro Lardent lived between 1885 and 1970. He produced several publications used by Bible Students. Lardent Cards were used to send messages and also as bookmarks. He continued with the Bible Students rather than following Rutherford's organization. He published an anthology of his cards called The Call of the Bride.
